Mac lipstick | review

Hello!

It was my birthday almost a month ago and my friends surprised me with a mac lipstick, believe or not my first ever mac lipstick, and as a lipstick lover i was quite very excited about this.
It is the Mac retro matte lipstick in the shade runway hit.

PACKAGING

I love it. Nothing can beat their packaging, it is black and you can notice that it is slightly glittery with mac engraved in silver on the lid. It looks so fancy and luxurious, which i really like.The lid shuts tight which is great as it won't open in your bag when you are carrying it!

TEXTURE

I found it quite drying when i first applied it, but i think it makes sense as it is a matte lipstick. I like to apply lip balm before i apply it and it makes it so much better, it glides smoothly on the lips and it is so easy to put on. And it does not feel drying at all.

STAYING POWER

I was really impressed with this lipstick's staying power, it stays on for so long, for 6-8  hours before i feel the need to retouch it. It lasts through a meal which is always a good thing. And it doesn't transfer easily so you won't be left with those annoying stains on your glass.

SHADE

This is the shade Runway Hit, I love the name it just sounds so nice, doesn't it?
It is a corally colour, it is quite bright so think it will be the perfect shade for spring. It is really pigmented so you get full coverage with only one swipe, which is great!

PRICE

This lipstick is 16 € which is the most expensive lipstick i own, as i love lipsticks and I'd rather have lots of different cheaper lipsticks rather than a more expensive one. It is good quality so i think it isn't a high price for it's quality.

WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?

I would definitely buy another Mac lipstick, i think they are great. But i probably won't buy this shade again, there's so many shades i want to try so I'd rather buy those instead of this one as it is a bit to bright for my liking.
